The challenge
Talentine had built a solid applicant tracking core — jobs, pipelines, scheduling, offers — but screening was still entirely human. Recruiters at their customers were sinking hours into resume review and first-round phone screens, and high-volume roles routinely attracted hundreds of applicants nobody had time to talk to. They needed a real intelligence layer and an autonomous interviewer on top of a multi-tenant Django monolith serving thousands of businesses, without compromising tenant isolation, candidate trust, or auditability of what the AI actually did.
Our approach
Intelligence layer over Azure OpenAI spanning job-description generation and optimization, auto-derived screening criteria, and a 0–100 Fit Score for every applicant, with per-tenant prompt management and a full LLM usage audit trail
Autonomous voice AI Interviewer built on Pipecat and WebRTC with Azure Speech STT/TTS and voice-activity detection, conducting structured 2–4 minute screens with anti-gaming and anti-impersonation safeguards
Interview Briefs synthesized from every conversation: summary, pros and cons, and timestamped key moments that deep-link straight into the recording, so recruiters review a screen in minutes
Hardened the Django/Celery system of record — pipelines, scheduling, assessments, offers, dual-geography billing — behind 20+ job-board, calendar, and CRM integrations
